Could Every Day Be Like This?

Here's what we did (on a whim) on a Wednesday.

This is Kiara Park in Taman Tun on a gloriously sunny morning. We played near the stream for a bit and made friends with a malay grandfather and his grandson, along with a young Indonesian man who was (according to Uncle Mohd Nor) working up the hill. Uncle Mohd Nor caught a lively little crayfish that was hiding under a rock in the stream. The kids were fascinated.

Then Chanrany found some huge leaves for the kids to hold on to.

Then in the afternoon, when they had gotten up from their naps refreshed and ready to play, we blew bubbles on the balcony (much to the delight of the young twins living downstairs from our apartment).

We had an early dinner at 5:30pm, played some more, and the kids settled in bed by 8pm so I could head off for yoga class downstairs.

No dramas, no tantrums, and I genuinely enjoyed myself with all of them. I felt like supermom.
