World of Warcraft-The Board Game

I found out about this game from The Star newspaper and got more (tasty) information from the official website. Check this out-the game features a massive 2ft x 3ft game board, more than a 120 plastic miniatures, 800 over components and weighs in at about 4.5 kilos (10 pounds)!

The gameplay is adapted from its hugely popular online counterpart, which I'm keen to try out when I get some free time (I wish). You can read the board game's manual here (PDF). Pre-ordering the game now will score you an exclusive bronze Hero miniature of your choice and a nice poster.

I'd like to get a copy of the game myself, except for the MYR 520 (!) price tag to ship this thing from the States. I'm sure it'll make a happy stocking-stuffer for some lucky (rich) kids out there this Christmas.

You could always check at Wolf’s gameshop (Amcorp Mall, 2nd Floor – next to Ultimate Toys) and ask if they’re bringing it in. You should be able to get it for far less than MYR520. Will still be expensive but maybe you’ll find something else there that warms your heart without murdering your pocket.
