A Week of Refreshing Conversations

Watercolour Test

It’s not often that I have the chance to indulge in proper grown-up conversations in a usual week, even more rarely the introspective kind. I am grateful for them. This week, I was reminded of my past, and that my future need not necessarily be tied to it.

New connections to old things. Time, and the experience that comes with it, can offer us a rich understanding, and an appreciation of the various perspectives of any issue or situation.

And goodness, how quickly Time passes. Andrea turned 7. She loved her gift - a Winsor & Newton Cotman Sketcher’s Pocket Box of 12 half pans - which arrived bang on time in the mail after I ordered it online last week at www.artsupplies.co.uk at a really good price of £6.85 (RRP is £18.75). It will serve her for years to come, I’m sure.

Work exploded this week. It’s good to be busy producing stuff, yes—but I was hoping for a bit of time for me to focus on preparing for the GMP audit.

I’m shattered. Time for bed.
