These are the things I’m grateful for this Christmas, in no particular order:

• Having *just* enough time to get gifts for the people who matter most to me.
• Last night’s roast leg of lamb which we shared with my Dad. It’s our first Christmas without mom around. But it didn’t feel as empty as I thought it would.
• Today’s Christmas lunch with Peng Yee.
• 
• For all my Christmas gifts which are either for pampering or cosmetics! Bobbi Brown foundation and eye cream which I bought on my own, Mary Kay lip balm from Shea Fee, a gift voucher for manicure and pedicure from Su An, and AWESOME MAC lip gloss and pigment eye shadow sets from Peng Yee. Girly heaven!
• For not having to travel anywhere and still be surrounded by loved ones.
• For my husband, who is unwaveringly faithful in his role as my best friend.
• That the boys LOVE their toys—I got a paint box set and a colouring book for Brandon, while Wu Han has to decide where to display his finished LEGO Marketplace Set. It’s huge! But must change the shoes I bought for Andrea, which were too small. Feeling so guilty she couldn’t wear them.

Well, here’s wishing you all the warmest, fuzziest, cuddliest feelings this Christmas. May you find for yourselves a wellspring of lasting joy, peace and love. And a bright new year to look forward to.
