Your wife is guilty for not doing anything special for you this year. I’m out of ideas as to how to say ‘thank you’ to the most capable, reliable, and loving person I’m blessed to share my life with.
I guess you’ll have to make do with Brandon, hehe.
A few notable events since my last update on the little man.
Crazy Mind Valley housewarming party at Bangsar Permai. Hats off to the Mind Valley staff for their hard work in sprucing up the apartment and kitting it out to be a slick party pad. The excellent meld of totally danceable music, plenty of interesting people to talk to (okay, more like yell over the said music), non-stop booze to strip us of self-consciousness made for a blast of an evening. Finally got some shopping done! Indulged in this pair of sneakers from Hush Puppies, and finally got a sharp suit from G2000. Still haven’t found a watch I really like, and can also afford. If money weren’t an issue, I would love to consider Rado’s Jubilee line (the white ones), or maybe even a Tag.
Brandon has started taking porridge twice a day—either pork or ikan bilis with onion, carrots and spinach. He loves it! Very easy to feed him, and he’s not too messy either. So now he usually has just one round of formula a day, and the rest is breastmilk and yummy porridge.
He also knows how to blow raspberries now.
Han is working on a photobook for our wedding at this very moment. Laying it out using Adobe InDesign CS3. The result will be sent to his aunt who is in the printing business and very graciously offered to print *anything* we want—photobooks, calendars, postcards—so that she can test drive a new RM2million printer from Canon before deciding to buy it. He’s already created Brandon’s photobook and it’s ready for collection. Can’t wait to see it!
Ugh…want to write more, but it’s nearly midnight. Brandon’s teething discomfort sometimes wakes him up in the middle of the night so we’ve been having several rounds of broken sleep in the past 2 weeks. Best to grab as much sleep as we possibly can.
