Brandon Chatting With Papa
Friday, 8 June 2007
Our little one is getting more and more expressive each day. Han gets the best out of him in this aspect, whereas I'm a total retard when it comes to talking with him. I'm trying my best to feel more at ease with it. Still, it's a heart-melting experience to observe them.
We have this little ritual of curling up on our tummies in bed and chatting with him every evening when we get home after work, before his last feed for the night. It's a catch-up session where we ask him what he did that day, or tell him what his grandparents were saying about him, or show him the colourful pictures in his cloth book. His wide smiles, coos and gurgles make the long hours at work all worth it.
Apart from looking at new faces, Brandon likes watching people's hands. Wiggle your fingers or snap them about 2 feet from his face and he'll be concentrating on them, then wriggling away with a toothless grin. He likes chewing and sucking on his own hands too.
This video was taken last week when he was 12 weeks and 4 days old. He's now a day over 13 weeks.
