Hello World!

Our little bundle of joy arrived this afternoon, 15 March 2007 at 12:45pm after a 9 hour labour. He weighed in at 2.8kg (about 6.2lbs). Michelle delivered baby Brandon without any anaesthetics and injections, just tasty Entonox to help with the pain. She’s a real amazon—I should know, I was present throughout the delivery!
Just came back for a quick shower, some food, grab a few things and it’s back to the hospital. Thanks to everyone’s SMSes, and calls, sorry we couldn’t reply everyone or answer some calls, as our phones were drained and we were busy with our boy. We truly appreciate all the well wishes and encouragement.
For those who wish to drop by to say hi, Michelle is roomed at the post-natal ward, 3rd floor, room 12 (ask for room 312) at Pantai Medical Centre. Visiting hours are until 10pm, but do give me a call first to see how she’s feeling, she’s quite exhausted.
Brandon, however, is currently being monitored in the ICU ward with an oxygen boost and a heater to keep him warm as the paediatrician reckons he’s a bit winded from the delivery and could have got chilled while he was at the delivery ward (he did herald quite a rainstorm), so he won’t be available for viewing this evening. But so far, the doctor says he’s doing great and if he passes his evaluation, he should be back by mommy’s side tomorrow afternoon. Poor thing must be really hungry… 
Okay, Michelle just called to say she’s feeling restless. That’s it for now, will update again when I get the chance!

i dont know how or exactly why but when i saw the pics tears just swelled up in my eyes. i guess i’m touched, in a strange way…seeing you guys since M days, all those memories, all those turning points for you two and all that…and reading all the reports about getting pregnant to this new person in the world with you guys.
am so proud of you guys, i duno, i just feel proud to know you guys.

Ngeow, Ruwani is at 37.4 days atm, so ours should be due in the next 2 weeks =)
