Moonlight
Sunday, 5 November 2006
The last time I remember being as mesmerised by the moon being so bright was one winter in Coventry, some 5 years ago.
Back then, a couple of friends and I were strolling down our snow-encrusted street in the dead of night. The moon was so bright that we didn't mind that the lamps were out--we could see perfectly well in that light. Rooftops were tinged in silver, with their small chimneys casting crisp shadows.
Tonight, moonlight was playing on the surface of the pool on the ground floor. It cast a block of light on our balcony. The moon itself looks radiant...fat, and happy.
