Post-Holiday Trauma

Thursday, 26 October 2006

Five solid days of nothing much besides relaxing and catching up with friends. And one morning of carting my old stuff from my parents' place. I'm already dreading the thought of going back to work tomorrow.

Things to do back at the office:

  1. Call the printer to check on the status of our material, and suss out how badly our order will be delayed;
  2. Try to finalise the press statement for the fund's launch, and discuss with my boss on how to improve on the text I've prepared for Datin's speech;
  3. Call the nursery to see if they can come with the other sample I've requested from them;
  4. Check up on the ad agency's progress on the fund's brochure and backdrop design;
  5. Approve the design for buntings;
  6. Prepare and send out invitations to the Directors to attend the fund launch;
  7. Confirm whether or not I have to write boss's speech too;
  8. Check status of caterer with company's secretary, and budget required;
  9. Review and approve design for paper bags;
  10. Run gambit idea past Maria to see if she has better suggestions.

I love lists. They un-panic me.
