The excitement is electrifying (speaking of which, does anyone out there find that walking around Ikea gets you electrostatically-charged? I’ve bumped into Han and other Ikea pilgrims by accident, and almost always zapped them).
Firstly, welcome back home, Ruach! KL can’t match Manhattan in so many ways (read [Patrick Teoh’s blog](http://patrickteoh.blogspot.com/) for his take on local current affairs), but at least you’ll only need to fill in one income tax form.
This week is going to be GREAT. The cupboard people came in today to unload their material for the kitchen and built-ins, and will start work proper tomorrow, together with the electricians who will be fitting out our lights. Shower doors to be done tomorrow as well. Airconds coming in on Thursday. Everything should be done by the end of the week barring any glitches (this sounds too good to be true though).
There’s one other change which I hope to formalise in the next 2 days, but cannot divulge just yet. All I can say is that I’m looking forward to a breath of fresh air.
I’m glad that I’ve got someone to take the plunge with—to [hold hands and jump.](http://www.rbc.org/odb/odb-05-31-06.shtml) Thank god for spouses!
