Cyberview Lodge It Is!

Friday, 28 January 2005

It's official--we've put down the deposit to book the hall at Cyberview Lodge for July the 2nd this year. Han's parents forked out the 20% booking fee (thanks so much!). That points to the pitiful state of our savings, really. To think we haven't even factored in doing up our apartment yet...

This weekend should be relatively quiet, with just one public roda on Saturday night to celebrate Hitomi's and Quek's birthdays, and a performance on Sunday morning at Plaza Mont Kiara for Sun Yoga. I don't think I want to go to the latter--I'd rather be at church.

Tonight we're going out to dinner with Quek and Candice at TGIF, Petaling Jaya.

Hi Konti, congratulations to you too on your marriage! Sorry for the delay in answering your comment. Haven’t been blogging lately as I’m caught up with other things.

We were very impressed with Cyberview’s level of service both during the preparation period and on the day of the reception itself. Vincent, the coordinator with whom we dealt, was helpful not only in knowing what Cyberview Lodge could offer us, but also in giving his own opinions when requested for.

The grounds are lovely. Click on the ‘Wedding Blog’ link to get to another website where we posted up most of the stuff we went through in planning for the wedding, as well as for photos that were taken on the day.

Another plus point is the fact that the food exceeded our expectations. We had an 8-course chinese dinner–the ingredients were all fresh, including the fish! There are other styles you may choose from of course, e.g. Malay dining or a buffet spread.

As for rating the place, well, I haven’t been to many weddings myself to make a comparison and I’m completely biased as this was held in our honour! What I can say is that the staff, the setting, the equipment and the grounds provided by Cyberview Lodge helped everyone involved to create an occasion that left a lasting impact on all who were present that day.
