This morning Han went with his parents to check out Cyberview Lodge which is one of the possible venues for the wedding banquet. From what I recall from the few visits I made there myself in the past, it’s a pretty place. Not too lavish or grandiose, but well decked-out with warm wooden panelling and a casual atmosphere amidst lush greenery. I hope it’s still well-maintained! Now I’m waiting for them to come pick me up for lunch (I’m on half-day leave) and we’ll be off to see what the Westin has to offer.

Observation: Taking the afternoon off is a lot more ‘dai’ than applying for a full-day’s leave—you get your ‘me’ time, but still stretch out the available annual leave you’re entitled to! Unless of course, you need your morning lie-in…
